Francesca Nella Dizer

 
Francesca lived a large part of her earlier life in Italy and studied Fine Art and Photography in Urbino. She then worked in a well known London photographic studio. She frequented various courses in Illustration and Life Drawing at 'St Martin's School of Art' and Airbrushing at the 'London College of Printing'. There are still strong links with Italy where she frequently participates in exhibitions and has works published in two poetry books. Francesca has a studio in London where she works mainly on commission and although favouring Egg Tempera for its graphic possibilities also works with watercolour, inks and pencils. The paintings hint at hidden meanings and stories which are never fully revealed and therefore invite the spectator to participate.
