Default Tempera demos

Hello all,
I have already posted a step-by-step painting on my blog, www.jimyarbrough.wordpress.com, and am in the process of posting another painting.
This one has as its subject the Venetian Carnival.
In future I will continue posting step-by-step pictures and comments of paintings I have done, exploring all the different techniques and methods used to paint in egg tempera.
I hope you enjoy my work.
Jim

Thanks Jim......you provide a great insight as to how you work and I'm sure novices and experienced painters will enjoy.

hello everyone, i just wanted to say that my demos are ongoing on my blog, and the newest series is 'celestial dancers' very large (4x5-foot) egg tempera paintings of belly dancers spinning out nebulas and galaxies. it's an exercise in NOT making tiny little meticulous paintings, which is all some gallery owners think is possible. please have a look soon.
