Thank you Koo for your wonderful detailed answer. After reading your reply, I think there were a few reasons why the nourishing layer did not turn out as well as I expected. First, the eggs were a little old second, the egg solution was a little to thick, and the last, I needed to use a little smaller brush and use it in the normal quick crosshatch motion in the way I work. After looking at it after a few days it is not all that bad - perhaps time is what is really needed. Thank you again, for your time and experience
