Default looking for Old Holland blue lake pigment

Hi all
Does anyone know where I can buy Old Holland blue lake pigment #229. I used to get it from FLAX in san francisco, but thery don't sell it any more

Some of the "lake" pigments are fugitive. You might want to google blue lake and see what its permanence rating is.
Just a suggestion.

Default willing to try another color of blue

Hi Phil

Thanks for your reply and input. I am willing to try another pigment. I really liked the transparency and pure navy blue color of the blue lake. Do you or does anyone know if a Kremer 45000 Ultamarine Blue very deep or the 23060 Phthlo Royal blue would be a close match and a good substitute for Blue lake??

I am open to any suggestions
