Hi,
I am using a glass pestle to mix pigment powder with distillated water.
After cleaning the pestle with water, there stay a haze of the pigment color at the bottom of the pestle.
Is there a special way to get the pestle free of these color particles?
with regards, Ton Hermes

I scrub my pestle (or muller) with a brush and soap. Some strong colors have seemed to leave a slight residue, but they do not seem to affect later mixes. If soap and a scrubbing brush can't get it off, it doesn't seem to contaminate other colors either.

you could poor on some 100% alcoholand rum it or at the same time put it in a bucket and take out the air with a pump, this will get the alcohol between the air and pigment, should help
but I like a tinted tool of the craft it gives it charachter and a past life to consider
I think that might be a bit risky if it spreads pigment into the air. I notice that it seems to dry to dust very quickly on the glass.
