Has anyone ever tried ceramic glaze stains as et pigments? I don't know why they shouldn't work. They generally hold their colour up into the 2000+ degree F area. Sunlight shouldn't be a problem and they are of a pretty fine grind.

They work perfectly fine, in my experience. I've not tried them with ET exactly, but with other water-based media. I've used pigments from Mason Color Works.

They're a bit gritty and will need further grinding (not uncommon from other places either.) There's no information as to exactly what the minerals are in most cases, so you might try contacting them for further details. If you're looking for a specific mineral, it'll be hard to find here. Advantage of being rather inexpensive (@2oz <$4.)
