I especially enjoyed Chris Hughes' work in the themeatic line of "Patterns" for this online exhibition. The work is particularly captivating from a compositional point of view, and even more engaging when viewing the larger close-up view.

The human brain seeks to make a symbolic sense of a non-identifiable pattern and actually "watching oneself" also engage in this process is hypnotic.
