Jon Gernon

Jon Gernon's work celebrates the giants in our own intimate worlds - these icon's don't represent pop singers or movie stars, they immortalize the people and objects that share our everyday lives.
Jon's work reminds us that mysticism is still to be found in our modern age, and that the history of human experience and the art that has captured it from centuries past still resonates today." - Deidre Healy, President, The Arts Center of the Capital Region

"Gernon has deftly woven that combination of mysticism and modernism, the past and the present into his contemporary paintings. His message comes through loud and clear." - David Brickman, Chronogram Magazine
