Christy Green
A lifelong resident of Georgia, Christy has spent over
20 years teaching art in the public schools of Hart County.
She received her B.S.Ed. Degree and MAE Degree from the University
of Georgia in 1973 and 1979. She currently resides
in rural Hart County with her husband and 4 children, and teaches
art at the local high school.
Christy has worked in a variety of media over the years including pencil, oils, pastels, and watercolor. She began using egg tempera about 2 and a half years ago and has been using it almost exclusively since her introduction to the medium.
Most of Christy's paintings have a figurative theme, but recently she has explored different subject matter and experimented with combining pure egg tempera with oil glazes.
