Jody King

 
Jody King has been working in egg tempera for 10 years and she is always amazed at it's versatility and final glow and patina. The medium lends itself well to working on tin ceiling panels she scavanges from local junk shops of central Texas.
Her works relate to the ancient art and science of Alchemy, Mysticism and Transformation. Several images are represented in the old text from the Emerald Tablet, especially in the piece 'The Lost Wing' and again in 'The Vision'.
